I’ve had a massive turn around on this film. Hag and Con love wildlife films – but when I saw this at a screening for its cinema release I didn’t have the boys with me. I was unable to see the movie through the eyes of a child and left thinking Kidz wouldn’t learn anything, find it fun and feel a little patronised.
Three months later – the boys get to see the DVD and they love it, so I was wrong and should have supported the Theatrical release. I still wish it was a 3D presentation – but there’s no denying its beautifully shot and well delivered to the under 10’s.
