Overall, it was a fight against evil dictators who wanted to rule the world. In the context of Red Tails it was a chance for the Tuskegee Airmen to show their strength, dignity, and heroism.

No, it was a great pleasure to be able to tell a story about these great American heros and show the adversity they were able to overcome.

No, but I understand the passion for flying. I was obsessed with cars when I was young. I thought at one point I wanted to be a race car driver.

No, and I don’t think I ever will, but I hear it’s exhilarating.
What’s more fun to film a Pod Race or plane battle? Hag age 7
Well both were all created digitally, but if they were real I would have to say a Pod Race because I would get to be on a different planet!

I don’t have plans for my next film yet, but I am hoping it will be a small film, so I can get back to my roots and shoot films like THX 1138 again.

My films are like my children—I love them all but I can tell you which film was the most fun to make. RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.
