ALSO………WHY ISN’T SKYLANDERS GIANTS INCLUDED IN THE TOP 13?
Skylanders is the greatest evolution in the toy market for decades.
There is an argument that because you need to buy a Console to play with ‘Skylanders’ – its not a toy.
If that’s the case ‘Moshi Monsters’ shouldn’t be there too as thats a product based on an online Kidz community of which you need to buy a PC to play. Kidz want the toys because they come with upgrade codes for their online characters – plus they can further their online play outside the online world with the figures. JUST LIKE SKYLANDERS!!!
This week Santa asked a room of Kidz and Parents “Why is the Toy all boys are asking for ‘Skylanders’?”
Surely he knows what a toy is?
And on the evolution of the ‘TOY’ – ‘Tablets’ like the Kurio. In the words of the Great Woody from Toy Story “You are a toy”.
He also went on to say that a ‘Toy’ is a “Childs play thing”
It doesn’t matter what old fuddy duddy LIKE US think is a toy from our era of play – Kidz say ‘Tablets and ‘Skylanders’ are their toys.
So they must be Toys then?
And…..what is the greatest toy of all time?
