When video games meet Disney – what do you get? (No – not just the upcoming ‘Disney Infinity’ video game) Wreck-it Ralph!!
Hag and Con just loved this movie – its not just Disney magic it has an array of household names from the last 30 years of gaming. Although there are a few faces missing – a jolly good reason to make ‘Wreck-it Ralph 2’ me thinks. Classic stuff from the masters of family entertainment.Highly recommended!!!
3D Blu-Ray review:
I always expect to get great 3D Blu-rays from Disney and sure enough the Wreck-it Ralph doesn’t disappoint. Plenty of objects appearing from the screen and 3D special effects all beautifully enhanced by eye catching colour. What I like best about the 3D for this movie is the Film world showing the gaming world how 3D should look in their video games. I tend to find that 3D games are generally very poor – the best 3D TV output to date being Sly Cooper on the PS3. Gaming developer should check this Blu-ray to see how its done. Stand out 3D moments – Hero’s Duty, Ralph teaching Venellope how to drive and the Sugar Rush finale race.
