Such a shame this film didn’t get a PG certificate – little boys aged 7 to 15 are going to just love the movie.
What impressed me most as a parent, No Swearing!! Finally a Director/Writer of a family action movie has realised you don’t need to swear constantly to add to the tension or humour. Also – the action is intense, but the final blow in the violence ends before you ever see the result – leaving your imagination to make up the rest.
Just loved the film – great piece of family action film making. This should be a template on how to make a good action film for kidz and you don’t need to see the (Sightly too violent) first GI Joe film to enjoy the second.
3D Blu-Ray:
This is a must see 3D Blu-ray – full of 3D SFX from start to finish. Bullets, flying darts, lasers and swords – pretty much anything you would want to come from the screen comes from the screen. Stand out 3D moments: This disc is packed with them, but there’s one scene that I have to say is the most enjoyable piece of 3D I’ve ever watched – the Ninja battle on the mountain. If you never get to see this scene in 3D you are genuinely missing out on a cinematic work of 3D art. Just spectacular – Highly Recommended!!!!!
