London Comic Con: MCM Expo and Memorabilia (28th-30th October 2011)

Review by Hag and Con

London Expo (28th – 30th October) 5 Stars

Parent View:
What’s so great about the London Expo and Memorabilia is no matter the financial position of your family – once you have bought a entry ticket your Kidz will come away with exactly the same experience as any other Kid. Always so much to do and see with or without cash – although I would suggest bringing a Pack Lunch(The fast food outlets are very pricey). This is a must attend event in the Kidzcoolit Diary!!!

The UK’s biggest festival of pop culture, MCM Expo London Comic Con returns to ExCel London this weekend with the best in movies, games, comics and anime.

Featuring brilliant new game BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY as its title sponsor, London Comic Con plays host to major movie studios; the country’s top comic creators; a dedicated games zone hosted by Gamespot UK and an awesome array of special guests… not to mention hundreds of great merchandise stands.

The stars of shows such as TEEN WOLF, TORCHWOOD, THE SECRET CIRCLE; SANCTUARY, WAREHOUSE 13 and EUREKA will be hosting panels and meeting fans, along with comics legend Gail Simone and bestselling sci-fi author Peter F. Hamilton. Meanwhile, top games publishers confirmed for London Comic Con include 2K Games; Capcom; Namco Bandai; Nintendo; PQube; Rising Star; Square Enix; Tecmo Koei; THQ; Ubisoft and WB Games.

In addition, the final of the Euro Cosplay Championships ensures a dazzling display
of cool costumes, our Cosplay Masquerade gives visitors a chance to strut their stuff
and the MCM Fringe Festival will entertain the crowds outside ExCel.

And that’s not all; October’s London Comic Con will also run alongside the
Memorabilia London show. Making its long-awaited return to the capital,
Memorabilia London provides visitors with an unbeatable opportunity to buy rare
collectables and have autographs signed by a host of movie, TV and sports stars.
