Your Kidz want to play games on a cool looking tablet but they also want to play Nintendo games. You didn’t buy them a 3DS as you were concerned about the 3D and all the press around ‘Young eyes and 3D’….la de da. Whats the answer? The new Nintendo 2DS
Firstly – the ‘PEGI 7’ rating relates to the a pre-loaded game ‘FACE RAIDERS’ on the system. If you’re concerned anbout the game- delete it. Although PEGI 7 for this game is silly. I’d be happy for any kid under 7 to play it. The 2DS is actually a PEGI 3.
As for the functions – it does everything the 3D does (Internet, e-shop downloadable games – both paid for and free Demos etc, etc). Also – Parents can control the access to the Internet with Parent controls.
The colours are very ‘Kid friendly’ and it feels very durable. Overall this is a massive success and highly Recommended!!!! (In the review Hag mentions a second touch screen as with DS and 3DS there is only one touch screen)
