RIPD is Ghostbuster/MIB mixed with Beetlejuice and really good fun. I’ll be honest – it may have been a little bit inappropriate showing Hag this film as there is quite a lot of mild bad language and adult humour that luckily went over his head – but no worse than that of PG’s action flicks from the 80’s. The rating is probably spot on (12A at the cinema) due to the language, but the main content is no different to Men in Black and Ghostbusters. Good fun action flick!!
3D Review:
This is a 3D spectacular – with bundles of action sequences made a billion times better due to the high quality 3D. Ghosts, guns, lasers, whooshy vortex’s and floating dead people all appearing from the screen. Stand out 3D moments – The opening sequence, Nick’s initial death, Old west shoot up in New york, Car chase with Deado’s, GhostBusters style end finale (No spoilers).
