This couldn’t be a more perfect family live action movie – its 97 mins long, PG, really exciting, funny and full of magic and action. Both girls and boys will love this film – its a perfect edition to the Disney Universe of Fairy Tales!!!

3D Blu-Ray Review:

The backdrop of the Maleficent world is just beautiful – similar in style to the Oz the Great and Powerful 3D disc with the 3D SFX used in a similar way. The use of 3D is quite subtle but effective – mainly used to define the incredible landscapes and flying sequences. It’s not necessarily a movie full of objects appearing from the screen – but occasionally butterflies will fly from the screen and the moments with the glowing fairies at night are beautifully captured with 3D FX.

Stand Out 3D moments – The first scene of adult Maleficent flying, The Crow flying to Maleficent to tell of the Kings coronation, The christening scene, fire balls and the Forrest, Aurora and the glowing fairies at night and finale battle between Maleficent, Dragon and King (No spoilers).
