Home has some very funny laugh out loud moments as you’d expect from a DreamWorks movie. As Con says in the review – it probably plays quite young compared with other DreamWorks films although the second half of the movie plays much older and is quite exciting. Hag, Con and Bex all enjoyed the movie – its really good fun!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review:
I like this film – but I can’t say it’s my favourite from DreamWorks. That said this is easily one of their best 3D Blu-Rays. DreamWorks are very reliable for creating incredible 3D – but Home is genuinely beautiful to watch. From the moment the bubble ships invade earth – anything you can possible imagine appears from the screen. Also the scenes descending from space and moments with earth landmarks are just outstanding. Highly Recommended!!!
Stand out 3D Moments – It’s really hard to any single out 3D moments as this film doesn’t use 3D like other movies. Most films have depth throughout and then ‘jump out 3D’ for key moments. Home has 3D effects throughout the film and works as a set piece. Most noticeable are the landscape scenes, space shots and Oh’s invite/parties. There’s also a nice moment at the end with the ‘shusher’ (No Spoiler)
