CBBC Wolfblood – Hag and Con Chat with Two of the Three K’s Gabrielle Green and Shorelle Hepkin (Katrina and Kay)
Tea or Coffee and why? Con age 8
Gabrielle Green – I’m gonna say Tea – every time. I don’t like coffee. I don’t think it smells good – I’m not a fan of it. Whereas Tea makes everything feel better – if you’re ever feeling down you should have a cup of tea.
Shorelle Hepkin – I’m also a tea fan – purely because Tea and Cake is better than coffee and cake.
How did it feel when you found out you were going to play one of the ‘popular’ Kidz in Wolfblood and were you really popular at school? Hag age 11
Gabrielle Green – When I found out the character I was really excited because she’s very different to me in that she’s very girly and very into her labels. Almost a bit of a mean girl and I definitely like to think I wasn’t at school. I’m definitely not very girly, I’m not nasty to people I hope. Its interesting to play someone like that because its so far removed from who I am.
Shorelle Hepkin – I was just so shocked that I did get cast in something that was so new. It was just so nice to play someone that was so different to what I was like at school. I was more like Shannon at school. I was very into learning and all that kind of stuff. I was never one of the popular girls – I would see them around school and that wasn’t me. I was sat in a corner with a book (Laughs).
Where is the darkest wood you’ve ever been in? Con age 8
Gabrielle Green – We film in the woods in Wolfblood and that’s kind of the only time I’ve been in the woods. It gets pretty dark – but luckily we have huge lighting rigs. So it’s never too dark.
Shorelle Hepkin – I do take my dog walking in the woods – but I would never go at night. I would say the darkest wood I’ve ever been in is the wood we film in also.
If you could turn into any dog – what dog would you choose and why? Hag age 11
Gabrielle Green – I would definitely be a Husky. I’m obsessed with Huskies. And also they look like wolves so you can tie it all in. Wolfblood – Wolf-Dog. That’s what I’d be.
Shorelle Hepkin – I don’t know what dog I want to be? I like a lot of dogs.
Gabrielle Green – Chihuahua!
Shorelle Hepkin – I do have a Chihuahua. But I’d probably want to be a Labrador because they’re quite graceful. Every time you see a Labrador you just want to hold it!
Being a Wolfblood is a big secret. Who in the Wolfblood cast do you think has the most secrets in real life and why? Con age 8
Gabrielle Green – I think Louis who plays TJ has a lot of secrets because he won’t let us know how he gets his hair like that. That’s a secret I want to find out. Its these really amazing tight curls – it’s a big secret.
Also – I don’t think Leona (Vaughan) is even Welsh. She’s been here too long (Laughs)
