What are you looking forward to most? Con age 10
We are certainly looking forward to meeting Sooty fans old and new. And we know they’re going to love our fabulous stage show – it’s a real giggle. Plus, after the show there is a chance to meet Sooty and myself – that’s our favourite bit to be honest. Plus Sooty is looking forward to swapping jokes with Basil Brush !!
What is the most trouble You’ve ever got in to? Hag age 12
That’s a tough one as we are always in trouble. Sooty once met The Queen and squirted Prince Phillip with his water pistol! I don’t think you could get in any more trouble than that!
Why doesn’t Sooty speak? Bex age 6
He does speak – but it’s very quiet whisper. And only certain people can hear him. Mind you with all the noise Sweep makes it’s a blessing Sooty is so quiet!
What would you squeak most about? Con age 10
It’s only Sweep that squeaks – and he squeaks most about his favourite subject – sausages! That’s why we call him “sausage brain” because that’s all that’s on his mind – that and bones of course.
What’s the most heartwarming thing a child has ever said to you after the show? Hag age 12
So many wonderful things are said to Sooty -but actually it’s the mums and dads to say the loveliest things. Sooty has been a part of so many people’s childhood’s -even grandparents watched him on television. So to hear adults say how much they love The Sooty Show and say how their children love it now is truly magical.
