Playmobil Superfan lands dream role in Christmas advert!!!

Darcy’s entry to be the Voice of Playmobil wowed judges with its clever take on the global brand’s universal appeal. Demonstrating her talent for scriptwriting, acting and communicating her love of the brand, Darcy portrayed how Playmobil reaches every type of child she is, from an intellectual with a penchant for puzzles to an outgoing showstopper.
As the winning Voice of Playmobil, Darcy was whisked off to a professional studio to record her voiceovers and experience the ad process from start to finish. She was also rewarded with £250 worth of Playmobil toys. A delighted Darcy said, “I can’t believe my voice is going to be on TVs all over the country in the run up to Christmas!
I had such a good time making my film and recording the ad. It was such an amazing experience, I can’t wait to see the final result on TV.” Emma Morris, Darcy’s mum, added, “As soon as Darcy heard about Voice of Playmobil her mind was made up. She wanted to create her own ad which showed how children have lots of different ways to play because she couldn’t choose one favourite toy. She had the confidence knocked out of her when she had a trampoline accident so started acting lessons with Stagecoach to build it back up again.
She’s our little star and loves creating and performing plays at home. Of course, I’m incredibly proud of Darcy and the whole experience has been a dream come true.” Jamie Dickinson, Marketing Manager for Playmobil commented, “This is the first time we’ve ever involved fans in any of our Playmobil advertising campaigns and Christmas is a key time for us.

Darcy’s talent shone through in her video and in the way she captured our incredibly diverse target audience. She blew us away on the recording day with her enthusiasm and professional attitude and I think she has a great future ahead of her.”
