I do like chocolate. I actually bought a box of truffles on the way to London and I think it’s like a 10 hour flight and I ate like 10 of them on the way here.

Are you a big sister in real life? (Hag age 8)
I’m not a big sister in real life…. I wish I was a big sister and I’m always trying to steal my friend’s siblings. Trying to get them to come with us to Disneyland and stuff as I don’t have any siblings and I really like little Kidz. I think they are super cute so I wish I had a sibling…….but I don’t.
What made you decide to be in an animated film? (Bethany age 11)
Um….Honestly….I auditioned for the first movie and they kept it pretty secretive. Like…I didn’t know that much about it and then when I went in the second time they were talking about how Steve Carrell was in it and a lot of really comedians and a little bit about the idea and I got excited and then Um….I was really excited to be a part of it…and….
I didn’t really know what it was gonna be like….cause that’s how animation is. It’s like a big surprise. Cause you’re just in a little room and you record your parts. And then to finally see it when it all comes together is exciting.
Why did you get a boyfriend in the film? (Con age 6)
Why did I have a boyfriend? (Miranda laughs)
I think Margo is at that stage where she’s finally liking guys….she’s just realising and…..Um….I think when she she’s him at the Mall…it’s kind of funny because she doesn’t even really know him or talk to him. She just automatically loves him. And I think that’s kind of a really cool thing about liking somebody when you’re young. Meeting someone for the first time….you can like fall in love with them before you even know them.
It was fun doing those scenes.
What’s the difference between playing an internet sensation and a super villain’s daughter? (Hag age 8)
I guess they’re pretty different…..Um…I feel like Carly from iCarly was a lot like me growing up. It was just like a heightened version of me…but…Um…but with playing Margo it’s pretty different just because animations so different. Being in a booth and not really acting with other people and then seeing your voice come out of someone that isn’t even you. So..Um…and playing Super Villains daughters pretty fun. I love all the gadgets in the movie like the ‘Fart Gun’ and the ‘Lipstick taser’ that Kristen Wiig’s character has.
Do you have any input for scripts like Despicable me and iCarly? (Bethany age 11)
Um…with iCarly we did some improv…just because we did so many wacky crazy things on the show. So…um…we had a little bit of input because we did random things and they ended up using a lot of that.
But…Um…I guess it’s kind of the same with Despicable Me…The Directors are really cool and they’d be like do it this way a couple of times and then just go really crazy and do what you want and see if it works. So I guess the improve side of comedy is for sure…probably the most fun part.
What’s your favourite animal? (Con age 6)
Favourite animal…Um…I love dogs. I have a dog names Penelope…and she…I just got her for Christmas. She was a surprise….and um…she’s like the best thing in the whole world.
But as far as more exotic animals…I really like elephants.
What do ‘Corn Dogs’taste like? (Hag age 8)
You’ve never had a ‘Corn dog’?
How old is he? (8 Years old)
And he’s never had a ‘Corn Dog’?…Oh I guess ‘Corn dogs aren’t as big in London …yeah….’Corn Dogs’ are everywhere in California. But what does it taste like?…….a bit like a ‘Hot Dog’ with bread. It’s pretty good…it’s not bad….I don’t think a ‘Corn Dog’ will disappoint him when he finally gets one.
But Truffles are better.
