The Pegi 12 for this game is in line with the BBFC rating for the film – but I’m a tad confused as to why the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are Pegi 16. I think its a little over cautious. Personally I think if your child is mentally able to deal with the film (Which to my mind should be a PG) then they should be fine with this game. This aside ‘Captain America: Super Soldier’ is a good fun solid game for boys with some great 3D for those with a 3DTV.
