Con and Bex Natter Talking Animals and Magiswords with Mighty Magiswords Creator Kyle Carrozza!!!
If you could create a mythological beast of legend in real life (like the Loch Ness Monster) – what would it be? Con age 9
Kyle Carrozza – It would probably be a Godzilla-like beast, but I’m not a fan of destroying the place I’m in, so if there was some sort of Burbank-zilla that just sort of floated and hovered overhead – kinda like the spaceship in Independence Day – that wouldn’t actually hurt anything but was just looking over you and caring for you, that’s the sort of monster I would want!
How do the swords do their powers? Bex age 5
Kyle Carrozza – The power of the swords is tied to the person holding it, so a lot of it is you picturing what you want the sword to do and it will do it. For example, if Prohyas was using little blue bomb Magiswords, if he uses it without thinking about too much it will produce some regular blue bombs, but if he really thinks about it he can probably change the shade of blue or the size of the blue bombs. A really skilled Magiswords user can get very specific results!
When you came up with the idea – did you base the characters on anyone? Con age 9
Kyle Carrozza – I had been playing a lot of JRPG (Japanese role-playing) video games such as Final Fantasy 6 and I knew that I wanted to make characters like that, at the same time I was thinking about shows like Teen Titans where there were certain kinds of personalities that really played off of each other. So, that’s pretty much where these characters started was through a combination of these elements.
I really like the giant pig. How big is it? Con age 9
Kyle Carrozza – Ah that pigs name is Hambus, he is about 10 Prohyas’ tall.
How did the dragon in the show get so stinky? Bex age 5
Kyle Carrozza – Well as you know a dragon needs to shed its skin and Grup’s skin had been on way too long which is why it got so stinky – it’s all pretty gross!
If you could really own one of the Mighty Magiswords – which one would you have and why? Con age 9
Kyle Carrozza – Absolutely, positively, Excaliburger! We have so many of swords, but I really like to draw burgers, so Excaliburger.
Cartoon Network have loads of talking animals in their shows – if you could make one animal start talking in real life what would it be and why? Con age 9
Kyle Carrozza – My cat yells A LOT so I just need to know what he’s saying. Sometimes he looks like he’s yelling at nothing at all. I bet the answer would be unsatisfying, but I would really like to know what he’s saying anyways.
Catch the launch of Mighty Magiswords every weekend at 8:30am from Saturday 8th April on Cartoon Network!!!
