Not necessarily for the younger kids, as it is still a touch creepy, but for anyone familiar with the Pirates franchise you’ll know exactly what you’re getting – loads of fun, daftness by the bucket load, some great effects and plenty of set piece action.
3D Blu-Ray Review:
For maximum impact this movie is best watched in 3D – although so much of the films best 3D is in the dark, so it’s important to have the lights out for the full impact of the effects. This movie is packed with objects appearing from the screen and the sea landscapes are outstanding in 3D.
Stand out 3D Moments – Opening sea battle, Jack stealing the bank, Salazar’s freedom, Jack swinging on the Guillotine, back story of Jack and Salazar, ghost sharks, final ships battle and the finale action around the walls of Sea (No spoilers)
