Paris, France (20th Anniversary run’s through out the whole of 2012) “Double Thumbs up” out of 5

A&E loved the whole experience of Disneyland Paris, from Eurostar to the Hotel and the two parks, but the experience is very tiring for little legs, so we hired a buggy / pushchair for them one day, even though they’ve been out of them now for a couple of years, but they loved being pushed around as a bit of a novelty. We went on many rides that had a scary factor but as fans of Scooby Doo and Labyrinth etc. they were not easily scared – but I hear that some kids do get freaked out, so best start with the Snow White ride and if the Witch in that is too scary avoid the other spooky rides. We decided to take them on the Hollywood Tower of Terror as we thought they’d like it and they probably would have refused had we explained it beforehand. Subsequently they loved it best of all and still go on about it! You can see E ringing the Hotel concierge bell at the beginning of the video.
We did miss out the roller-coasters on the whole but that was fine, plus we checked out the Michael Jackson 3D Experience Captain EO (The girls are big Jacko fans). The girls also loved meeting the Disney characters and seeing the parades – but we went in term time to avoid the huge queues (worth doing!) and it meant that the Disneyland Hotel was more affordable, which was great as it meant a lot less walking, plus it smelled absolutely divine!
