This is a truly spectacular prequel to the original Monsters Inc. movie. Its funny, exciting, has cracking character moments throughout and the perfect running time – whatever the age of your family. Monsters University is an instant classic and dare I say it – maybe better than the first (Time will tell with repeat plays on DVD for that one).
Also the disc includes some fab Extra Features – my fave being a look around the Pixar offices with Director Dan Scanlon. I’ve heard so many great things about their offices – this is a great insite.
A smashing family great – Highly Recommended!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review:
The 3D for this movie’s quite subtle but effective – what it does do they you don’t get from the 2D version is fully show off the high standard and beauty in the animation and colour. The characters are just so smooth looking and actually appear clay like rather than CGI.
Stand out 3D moments: Mike walking down the bus isle, The first Challenge – Race, Ladybird flying, Monsters university landscapes, Breaking into and out of Monsters Inc, The Final – Sare Room and confetti, Mike and Sully running through the Forest.
