At The Orchard Theatre Dartford (4th-7th Aug) 5 Stars
Parent View:
High School Musical is a franchise that will always provide great live entertainment for youngster as Grease did before it. What adds to the fun of this performance is these Kidz are not professionals and the The Orchard Theatre have offered the group an all important platform to maybe follow their dreams.
The Orchards faith in these young hopefuls has paid off as the show is thoroughly enjoyable for all ages. Stand out stars are the actors who play Sharpay (Charlotte Evens) and Ryan (Idriss Kargbo) – casting agents should have a look at these guys. They could be future stars!!
Following the success of last years first-ever Summer Youth Project, The Orchard presents this summer’s must-see production High School Musical. Our cast of local young people, aged from 9 to 19, will sing, dance, act and entertain you, treading the boards where some of the biggest-stars in show-business have performed, in a huge two-week project culminating in these live public performances.
High School Musical tells the timeless tale of two starcrossed lovers who are in very opposite groups – the cool kids and the geeks! When Troy and Gabriella audition for the school musical their classmates are divided, but, unphased by peer-pressure and rivalry, the pair eventually inspire their friends to start Breaking Free.
