Really wish we’d seen this movie on the big screen now. At that stage Hag hadn’t seen the original and to be honest the trailer made it look a bit boring. Boring this film is not though!!! The Aliens are back, the humans are now in space and there’s fast paced battles from start to finish. Its a bit cheesy like the original – but that’s easily overlooked as its so much fun to watch. Not sure why this movie isn’t a PG – I’d be happy for all my kidz to watch Independence Day Resurgence and Star wars fans will love it. Highly Recommended!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review:
Wow, wow, wow – this is a corker of a 3D Blu-Ray. Incredible depth to landscapes and huge flying saucers, high speed air battles appearing from the screen and aliens with tentacles grabbing at you from the TV. You really couldn’t want for more. A must for the 3D collection.
Stand Out 3D Moment – This is so hard to pick as this movie is a 3D fest. Opening sequence with the Queens space craft arriving. Hemsworth saving the Moonbase, Queens space craft appearing on earth with the gravity loss to the planet, ‘ANY’ moments with the human planes attaching, Queen in the Desert (No spoiler) and Alien ship twister (No spoiler).
