This is hands down the finest animated family film of 2016. There’s loads of quality movies out this year but I cant see anything beating Kubo at the Oscars – it screams winner. LAIKA films are a little bit like Marmite – as they can be a bit dark for some kidz. Although my kidz love their films like Boxtrolls and ParaNorman. That said KUBO is far more commercial than anything they ever made before. Every Kid on the earth will love this movie – Its their best film yet. Highly Recommended!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review:
There’s something very special about a LAIKA 3D Blu-Ray. Naturally the quality is very good – but more importantly due to the styling of the stop motion animation – the film really feels like a puppet show in your lounge. Kubo is beautiful to watch with jump out the screen moments in all the right places. A must own for the 3D Blu-Ray collection!!!
