Guardians of the Galaxy – Hag and Con talk to Zoe Saldana’s Trainer/Stunt double Chloe Bruce!!!
How did you become a stunt women and what was your first film? Hag age 10
I have trained in martial arts since the age of 7 years old, so my martial arts helped me get into stunts. Although there are stunt exams and training you have to do to become a stuntman/women.
My first film as a stunt double was Wrath of the Titans in 2011 where I doubled Korrina (Lily James)
Was it hard doing stunts as Gamora – and if yes why? Con age 7
It wasn’t hard, but there was a lot of prep involved. Gamora’s character was very fit and active, so we had a lot of things to rehearse and get exactly right before it came to filming them.
Did you read the Guardians of the Galaxy comics before the film? Hag age 10
Unfortunately I hadn’t, although as soon as I found out that I was filming Guardians of the Galaxy I went out and brought some of the original comics. So I would say I have definitely caught up now.
How many medals and trophies have you won? Con age 7
I have probably won over 200 medals and trophies. I have been taking part in competitions since the age of 8 years old and still compete today. I used to keep count of them, but the last time I checked I was up to 176 and that was a few years ago now
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever done? Hag age 10
I had a funny job where I doubling for an old lady on the Graham Norton TV show. They made my face look like I was around 80 years old. It was so strange looking in the mirror.
How fast are your kicks? Hag & Con
I can kick pretty fast. I actually hold the Guinness World record for most kicks in 1 minute. Where I got 212 kicks.
