Marvel: X-Men – Days Of Future Past (2D/3D) review by Hag
On DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray 10/11/14 (12) 5 Stars
Parent View:
X-men movies tend to be little darker and more adult in tone compared to other Super Hero 12’s (12A theatrically) such as Avengers and Spider-Man – although this instalment is far lighter than past movies. The only shame is one ‘very’ strong use of bad language and there’s no way of it going over the heads of the Kidz. Aside from that this film is easily one of the best in the franchise and both Hag and Con loved it!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review:
Although quite dark in places the 3D is used effector on the disc. As with many movie the key 3D sequences tend to come towards the end – there is good 3D effects throughout.
Stand Out 3D moments – the opening sequence in the future, Mystique firing the gun, quick silver running in the kitchen (Up there as one of my favourite 3D sequences ever), Erik guiding a bullet to Mystique, in the Cerebro room and the finale battle.
