2012 Pokémon Video Game Championships UK

Martin: I liked all of it and it was better than I thought it would be. It would be better if more of the battles were on the big screen. The Pokemon Trading card game training session was good and I enjoyed meeting the characters and it was funny when they were dancing.

Edward: I thought it was cool and brilliant and I liked all of it but it would have been a bit better if ALL the battles were on the big screen.

NEC Birmingham (3/3/12) 5 Stars

Parent View:
I had no idea what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. I was one of a few slightly bewildered mums with excited kids in a room largely full of young men, but the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The boys enjoyed meeting the Pokemon characters, but I think the best bit for them was the chance to have a Pokemon Trading Card Game training session with an experienced player. As the boys have said, it would have perhaps been better if we could have seen more of the game action on the big screen, but as a family, we give it a big thumbs up!
