It isn’t Up, or Toy Story. However, neither is it Ice Age 3. Rio is a well executed children’s film that makes full use of the 3D (some stunning flying shots), in an existing and engaging movie that’s sure to be well received. So, whilst Rio is never likely to be regarded a children’s classic it’s almost certain to be the must-see children’s movie for the next few months.
3D Blu-Ray Review:
Its very easy to forget your watching this film at home when you pop on the 3D glasses. Rio ticks all the boxes for a Kidz 3D movie – grand colourful landscapes, birds flying and big beaks poking out of the screen. If you collect 3D Blu-Rays – this is a must own for the collection. Beautifully presented and cracking fun.
