This is one of our favourite films of the year – There is absolutely nothing boring about this movie. San Andreas is Action packed from start to finish, but make sure your bladder is empty. You’ll never be able to take a toilet break. Both boys loved this movie – although Con found it a little too intense at times. There is one use of very strong language when the Mum calls her new boyfriend from the helicopter – so you may wish to cover your Kidz ears when she makes the phone call. San Andreas is the new Die Hard – but with The Rock. Highly Recommended!!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review:
It’s really hard to think of this movie as a 2D film as I’ve only ever seen it in 3D. Twice on the big screen and now once at home. Generally I prefer 3D at home rather than the cinema – but the sheer chaos throughout San Andreas is that much more dramatic seen through 3D glasses. The bigger the screen the more powerful the effects are.
Stand out 3D moments – Anytime the earth quake him (Pretty much the whole movie from start to finish), helicopter scenes, Opening sequence rescuing the car, roof top restaurant rescue, the wave and the under water rescue finale.
