The new Star Trek is absolute cracking action from start to finish with some wonderful character set pieces – similar to 2012’s The Avengers movie. There is quite a bit of swearing throughout, but it is in context with the story and never any of the harsher words. Hag’s become a massive fan of Star Trek since he started reviewing the franchise and this was the icing on the cake. One of the must see movie for 2013 – Highly recommended!! New fans and old fans alike will love this.

3D Blu-Ray review:
If you don’t already own a 3D TV – here’s a good reason to buy one: Star Trek Into Darkness 3D Blu-Ray. 3D SFX from the moment you press play with incredible depth in space, lasers and objects appearing from the screen throughout. This is one of the few films I enjoyed the 3D both theatrically and on the small screen (I don’t normally enjoy 3D at the cinema as much as on a 3D TV). The bigger the screen the better the experience.

Stand out 3D moments – Bird of Prey chasing the shuttle, Blood sample, Warp chase, Kirk and Khan ship jumping, Spock chasing Khan and the incredible end credits!!!

This is a must own 3D Blu-Ray and a lesson from J.J on how to use 3D in Sci-Fi movies. Roll on Star Wars Episode 7. Highly Recommended!!!
