I was very sceptical when it came to Diggerland – the marketing really didn’t entice me and the only reason I was slightly tempted to take the Kidz was because Hag and Con had been before and raved about it.
Realistically Diggerland shouldn’t work, but it really does. This is quite possibly the most unique family experience I’ve ever reviewed – its basically lots of construction devices and vehicles redesigned for use in a theme park and a little bit MAD as an idea.
I’d be interested to see what a family in the construction trade makes of it – but as a ‘City Slicker’, this was a fun packed day out we’d definitly return to.
If I was to place the theme park experience against the other options out there – I would suggest its perfect for families that have been to LEGOLAND too many times and need something new or maybe the Kidz are slightly too old now for LEGOLAND and DisneyLand Paris just isn’t in the budget this year.
I mean this respectfully – Diggerland is the ‘Missing link’ between LEGOLAND and Disney. Highly recommended!!!
