What’s the best boat trip you’ve ever taken? Con age 9
Dane Hughes – When I went on the Norfolk Broads with my Brother and Dad.
Teddie-Rose Malleson-Allen – Last half term I went to Greece to a tiny tiny island. You could only get to the island by boat and once on the island there were no cars.
The boat over to the island for the first time was really exciting as we didn’t know what to expect, I remember we went really fast and the sea was a beautiful blue.
What do you enjoy most about sailing and can you now sail a boat since making the film? Hag age 12
Dane Hughes- I enjoyed sailing when it was extra windy, and yes I can still sail now.
Teddie-Rose Malleson-Allen – The scenery in the lake district is epic! You can see for miles and we pretty much had the lake to ourselves. I’ve not been in a sail boat since filming but I’m pretty sure I would remember what to do.
Where is your favourite place to chill out and have fun in real life? Con age 9
Dane Hughes- Switzerland, I like to go skiing there
Teddie-Rose Malleson-Allen – My favorite place to chill out and have fun in real life is my sofa at home!
I love hanging out there reading books or watching films with my friends.
Were any of the cast sea sick while making Swallows and Amazons? Hag age 12
Dane Hughes – No thankfully not
Teddie-Rose Malleson-Allen – Nobody was sea sick but we all got hit on the head by the sail boom a lot. You have to really pay attention and duck when it swings across the boat otherwise you get whacked and that really hurts. It happens in the film to Susan.
What do you think is Your “Destiny”? Con age 9

Er…Frankly I’m not really sure what my ‘Destiny’ is.

Dane Hughes- I’d probably ask to join them, it sounds like fun
Teddie-Rose Malleson-Allen – Probably scream, real pirates are terrifying.
