I wasn’t certain about this film when I first watched the trailer – but without a doubt Book of Life is one of the most beautiful, unique fairy tales to come to the big screen this year.
Aside from the story and the wonderful choice of songs the highlight for me was the brilliantly sensitive way the afterlife is dealt with in the story.
Hag and Con just loved this movie – you won’t see anything else like it this year. Highly Recommended!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review:
This film is just so beautiful and the the use of 3D perfectly enhances the wonderful array of colour and action.
Stand out 3D Moments – village bull fight as Kidz, horse ride through the land of the remembered, meeting the Candle maker at the magical waterfall, ‘Worst fear’ bull fight and the finale battle.
