Parent View:
Forget ‘Twilight’ – this is Potter good! ‘Lord of the flies’ for a new generation – a truly exciting new franchise. Hunger Games carried a ’12A’ rating theatrically (Meaning Kidz under 12 years old could watch the film if their parents thought it appropriate) – I’m still undecided on showing my 7 year old Hag. If any child under the age of 12 has already read the books, I see no reason why they shouldn’t watch the movie.
Home entertainment brings a new 15 rated cut of the film with very little difference between the 12 and 15 versions. If you were happy for your under 15 year olds to see the the 12A version at the cinema, the chances are you’ll be happy with them watching the 15 certed Hunger Games.
