If you’ve watched the trailer and thought this movie looks awful, you’ll probably hate ‘The Meg’. But if you’re like us and been desperate to see this film all year – it won’t disappoint. Much like the Jurassic World movies – it’s just the right level of scary for kidz to enjoy and there’s never a dull moment. It’s a real shame the BBFC rated this movie 12 (12A theatrically) as the rating might scare some parents from showing their kidz the movie. Personally I see no reason why ‘The Meg’ wasn’t rated PG – it’s harmless fun and quite tame content. Most of the horror is implied rather than actually seen. Bex loved ‘The Meg’ from start to finish and wants to see it again. There’s so many great characters and moments – although ‘Pippin the dog’ was a highlight of the movie. As a film ‘The Meg’ knows exactly what it is and if you want two hours of family silliness – One of our favourite films of 2018. Meg 2, 3, 4 and Meg 19 please – Highly Recommended!!!
