The Night Before Christmas – Bex talks Festive fun with CBeebies Mrs Christmas, Cat Sandion!!!
Who’s the most fun person you’ve worked with at CBeebies over the years? (Bex age 10)
Cat Sandion – What?! You can’t ask me that I’ll get into trouble haha. To be totally honest I’ve been working with our CBeebies family for 10 years so is is waaay too hard to pick anyone out!
What’s you favourite Christmas memory? (Bex age 10)
Cat Sandion – Throughout my whole childhood we would gather as a family for Christmas Eve bringing all of our presents for each other, now I mean there were hundreds of gifts! Then at midnight someone would dress up as Father Christmas and give out all of the presents. It took HOURS! But was literally the best time every year!
How long did it take to learn your lines for ‘The Night Before Christmas’ and what’s your favourite moment in the show? (Bex age 10)
Cat Sandion – I probably learnt the lines in about 5 days, once you’ve rehearsed and solidified what’s being said then you can keep going over it.
So many moments but the bit that always gave me goosebumps throughout rehearsals and the shows was the song between Holly and The Moon, there are some beautiful harmonies, Banks and Wag are genius.
You play Mrs Christmas in the show. What do you think Mr and Mrs Christmas do the rest of the year? (Bex age 10)
Cat Sandion – I think they sit sipping cocktails on a paradise island whilst the elves have the most fun doing water sports in the sea!
What do you want most for Christmas this year? (Bex age 10)
Cat Sandion – I want most of all to be home with my husband and children doing all the Christmassy things I possibly can with them! (I’m usually away working at Christmas time.)
