The Smurfs (2D/3D Blu-ray review)

Review by Hag and Con

On DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray(PG) 5 Stars

Parent View:
The Smurfs is a wonderful family film that captures a modern flair remnant of the Chipmunk movies yet respects the original fan base of the Smurf TV show. This is a very funny film but parents beware small kidz might need a cuddle during scenes when Azrael the cat chases the smurfs – she can be a bit scary at time.

3D Blu-Ray Review:
As a kid of the 80’s – I’m so pleased this film was made in 3D. I actual got to fly into the Smurf village at the beginning of this film the 3D’s so good. This Disc is just as impressive as it was on the big screen and incredible crisp HD 3D. Stand out 3D – Opening Smurf village scene, the smurfs being sucked into the vortex and the final battle with Gargamel
