Is it a classic Spielberg kidz film? Is it a classic Dahl movie adaptation of ? Its both!!!
I can’t think of a kid I know that won’t love this film – its funny, naughty, exciting and very very heart warming. Spielberg’s done the Great Roald Dahl proud on his 100th Birthday. Highly Recommended!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review: The 3D is just beautiful for this movie – bizarrely its hard to pick a stand out moment as rather than use the 3D FX for impact moments like most movies its subtly used throughout creating a kind of pop-up book effect around the story telling. The depth and colour of the backdrops are incredible and if a giants ever grabbing – the hand comes out of the screen. Best seen in 3D – A must for the 3D collection!!!
Stand out 3D moments- BFG grabbing Sophie through window, Sophie in BFG’s Dream room first time, Sophie and BFG catching Dreams, Giants hunting for Sophie in the dream room, Queen’s lunch – Whizzle Pops, Helicopters and the final plan with the Giants (No spoilers)
