Its the new Kid on the block and pretty impressive for a first outing. The new BOOMco blasters are really cool looking, have a cracking loading/firring action and feel great when holding.
I would have liked to see more darts included than need for the first range as they do go missing quite quickly and with other blasters on the market Kidz tend to have bundles of extra darts laying around from past products when receiving a new toy. This won’t be an issue when BOOMco’s been around for a while – but on the first outing it would have been good to have at least double the amount needed. Also – Con loves the Blaster – but doesn’t quite have the strength to use it as well as Hag can. The other Blaster’s in the range may have been easier for him to use.
On a more positive note – the Shield is a fab idea and the boys were very excited by the way it flips out at the touch of a button. Plus the darts don’t hurt on impact which means you don’t have quarreling Kidz in the garden when you’re trying to have a bit of peace and quiet. BOOMco’s fab!!!
