Minecraft Zone to feature again at Insomnia51 – The block-placing phenomenon is back at Insomnia: April 18th-21st 2014
Multiplay, organiser of the UK’s largest gaming festivals, has today announced that Minecraft will once again feature at its next event, Insomnia51, as part of the Minecraft Zone.
Following on from last summer’s Minecraft Expo at Insomnia49, Multiplay is bringing back the features that entertained Minecraft fans of all ages from across the country and beyond.
The Minecraft Zone will offer free-to-enter tournaments for the most popular gametypes, panel talks and presentations in the dedicated 650 seat auditorium, with an exhibition featuring examples from the best and brightest of the community, as well as the chance to purchase official Minecraft merchandise from J!nx. Its a Kidz cultural phenomenon – its the wonderful world of Minecraft. To be honest we’ve been a bit slow to catch on to Minecraft at Kidzcoolit HQ. Hag and Con don’t really play games like this on PC and generally the PC is used solely for work purposes by Mum and Dad so the Kidz don’t get much of a look in.
Pretty much every Kid I know outside of my own have been playing this game for what seems like forever. Minecraft is a lovely game and incredibly peaceful game encouraging Kidz to use their imagination and build their perfect world using various tools within the world. There seems to be no limits to what you can do and its a beautifully crafted game. The game can be downloaded as an app, through your PC and also on Xbox One and Xbox 360. I dare say as its popularity grows it will also appear on Playstaion and Nintendo in time.
Also – the toys and role play products are fab and a must for fans, Highly Recommended!!!
